Tomas Soucek was accidentally kicked into the face by Toffees striker Salomon Rondon by Salomon Rondon while they were fighting for the ball.
The Czech Republic international has suffered injuries to his eyes, nose and lips. After that incident happened in Everton’s 1-0 win over West Ham at Goodison Park.
Still, Suzek was healed. And can return to training ahead of his side’s Europa League match against Genk on Thursday.
“Tomas, okay, he’s a little bit hurt. He has stitches on his lips, cheeks and nose, and he’s fine,” Moyes said.
“I don’t think the injury is the reason he can’t play. It’s just a decision whether we rest him or not, Tomas wants to play.”
“He sewed his lips. And he had plastic surgery again. because he did some of it after the game. He has stitches on his cheeks and nose.”
“Everyone’s enjoying the league games and Europe and I have to say I’m really enjoying the European experience.
“I want the players to go far in it. It would be great if we could top the group, but trying to make sure that we go through would be the main aim at the moment.”
